Dota 2 Patch 7.26c Leads to a Great Number of Changes

Did you know that Valve released patch 7.26c for Dota 2? There are plenty of changes to the most popular heroes. Also, you will see some new tweaks, aiming to balance the strongest and weakest heroes in the existing meta.

It won't be an exaggeration to say that the major point for patch 7.26c will be the sweeping changes to talents for most heroes. Thus, almost every hero got at least one of its talents updated. If you want to know all the changes, feel free to visit the official patch notes page. Honestly, there are only several changes that are really worth your attention.

Let's start with Alchemist. Its talents have been balanced at the level of 10, 15, 20, or even a bit higher. There used to be only one option you would take at these levels, including nerfs to the stronger option and buffs to the weaker option. Thus, there should be more action taken between them now.

Riki used to be available in some pro games. Now, it has the level of 25 talents reworked. You definitely heard about it as Cloak and Dagger Doesn't Reveal. Now, it is known as +125 Smoke Screen AoE, making his invisibility methods a little less influential in the hyper late game.

A couple of neutral objects have also gone through certain Dota 2 modifications. Royal Jelly received a global cast range, while the buff is given to all the possible illusions. Now, the Illusionist's Cape can damage all illusions it made if the object is not equipped properly.

Apart from changes to talents, there are also some other changes to heroes. Probably the biggest buff in this context is Outworld Devourer, who's Essence Flux has been boosted from 11/22/33/44% to 20/30/40/50%.

Finally, Sniper's Shrapnel slow has been amended slightly at the level one, two and three. Meanwhile, the stun gets his ultimate feature when Aghs are reduced from 1.8 seconds to 1.5 seconds. Without a massive nerf to the hero in the pro scene, it will make the pub games look less tedious and more engaging.

The Bottom Line

While the number of changes at is quite impressive, it still takes much time and energy for you to get used to them. After all, you don't want to do something wrong by destroying the results of your gaming efforts. So before you decide to benefit from the recent updates, check what hides behind them not to get into trouble. Don't leave things for tomorrow, take action!
